We saved this young white pitty girl hours before the owner was going to bring her to the pound! Another case where the owner didn't train her and because she didn't know anything it was suddenly "her fault"??? We see it all the time. The lovely young lady is truly a gem and is fostered with kids and other dogs and is a happy dog to be given a second chance at life. Won't you give her a second chance at a forever home?

2 yr old, spayed Jack Russell Terrier! Sooo super sweet! She was owner surrendered with 4 other JRTs, from an x breeder who 'couldn't handle them anymore'. How sad! This lovely lady would do best in a home where she would be spoiled rotten! A quiet home, preferred with no small children. She is a calm girl, unlike most JRTs! Tassel is being fostered in a home with other (bigger) dogs and some cats. Foster mom reports she is doing fine and is a sweet girl and actually just ignores the big dogs. :)

Owner surrendered and cover is fleas! This poor 7 month old puppy was a typical case of poor pet ownership. This tall, full loving guy is great with kids and other dogs, as most Hounds are! His exact breed is unknown but guessed to be a Hound mix! "I love to play ball and cuddle on the couch! Eli has been moved from house to house and has some separation anxiety. He is now in a stable foster home and happy. For the first time, he gave his foster mom a hug and a kiss very recently. This comes from a pup who never received much love! He's made much progress and is learning basic commands. He is potty trained. And he loves to play and go for walks! :)

Meet Avery! She had mange, due to stress. She was turned into a local animal control as a stray. She is now during so much better now that she is in a foster home and out of the shelter! She is crate trained and doing very well in the house. She is very affectionate and loves to play and cuddle! She is great with cats and dogs of all sizes. This is a nice dog. He was owner surrendered and scared, but now opening up and happy in a foster home. His foster mom reports Chunky loves to lie on his back on the couch with his legs up and is goofy, fun and loving! We're very happy he's come a long way in a short time. This young lady was pulled from a local West Michigan shelter just in time. She is a joy!!! She is SO happy to be free from that shelter that held her so long. She is a two year old reddish fawn boxer mix, and very sweet. Potty-trained, gets along with other dogs; submissive; friendly to people; walks well on lead.

"Chocolate Moose" a young 3-year-old neutered, purebred Labrador male! Would make a PERFECT pet for a single woman! Np children. He is at the side of his human, every chance he gets! Carma! Maybe 18 months old! Adopted from a shelter and then brought back not 1 year later PREGNANT! What a bummer huh?! She is a fabulous mom to 4 beautiful babies! This is the "bomb proof" dog of our rescue! Sooooooooo sweet! Very affectionate! Great with ALL dogs (even 4 pound Yorkies), good with cats and ALL children-not so much bunnies though-she thinks they are way too much fun! 100% house trained! Carma is awesome on a leash and boy does she love walks! Great in the car to boot! If you have room in your family, this girl is a ready made pet!
